Under the contract from Astrium GmbH, GTI6 started providing support to Astrium GmbH, European Space Agency and international cooperation regarding use of HLA simulation software for joint integrated simulations and ground controller team training for the upcoming flight of the ATV-2 spacecraft.
Under the contract from Astrium GmbH, GTI6 successfully completed a project for Astrium GmbH and the European Space Agency to support implementation and testing of the HLA interface to the distributed simulation system used for ATV ground controller team training in Toulouse (France) and Korolev (Russia).
GTI6, as consultant for ELV (an AVIO group and ASI company), has received a continuation of its contract on the VEGA launcher in the field of avionics qualification.
GTI6, as a consultant for SATEL conseil (France), works on Telecom satellites expertise in the field of FDIR analysis (failure, detection, isolation and recovery).
GTI6 successfully completed a research project for the European Space Agency addressing semantic interoperability for future European space projects. A simple prototype ontology was developed using early concept data related to exploration missions, their architecture components, interfaces and functions together with a potential end-user application. The results were published in the proceedings of the 2009 Joint SISO/SCS European Multi-Conference.
GTI6 together with SOFTEAM (Consortium lead) and Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems (FHG FOKUS) successfully completed the RTE-Space project for the European Space Agency. This project was aimed at experimenting with MDA (Model-Driven Architecture) technologies for the purpose of future re-engineering of some existing simulation systems.
